Agreement
These Terms of Use are between you and Digipine. By downloading or using Photo Translator, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Purpose of the App
Photo Translator recognizes text from photos or manual entry and translates that text using Apple system frameworks. The app is intended as a convenient general-purpose translation aid.
License and App Store Terms
The app is licensed, not sold. Your use is subject to Apple's applicable App Store usage rules and Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These Terms supplement those rules and do not replace rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Acceptable Use
You may use the app only for lawful purposes. You may not misuse the app, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, violate another person's rights, or use translated content to facilitate unlawful or harmful activity.
Your Content
You are responsible for the photos and text you choose to process and for ensuring that you have the right to use them. You retain any rights you have in your content. The app does not claim ownership of your photos or text.
Translation Accuracy
Photo recognition and translation may contain errors, omit words, or misunderstand context. Always verify important information with a qualified person or authoritative source. Do not rely on the app as the sole basis for medical, legal, financial, safety, immigration, emergency, or other high-impact decisions.
Device and Language Requirements
Translation availability depends on a compatible Apple device, supported operating-system version, supported language pair, sufficient storage, and any required on-device language downloads. Some languages or features may not be available in every region.
Purchases and Subscriptions
Paid plans are processed by Apple through the App Store. Monthly and yearly subscriptions provide unlimited scans while the subscription remains active and renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple Account before renewal. The lifetime plan is a one-time non-consumable purchase that provides unlimited scans for the supported lifetime of the app. The App Store displays the applicable price and billing period before you confirm a purchase. Billing, cancellation, renewal, and refund handling are subject to Apple's applicable terms.
Availability and Changes
The app may be updated, changed, suspended, or discontinued. Continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Features may change to maintain compatibility, security, or legal compliance.
Intellectual Property
The app's software, design, branding, and original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except as allowed by law or Apple's usage rules, you may not copy, redistribute, reverse engineer, or create unauthorized derivative versions of the app.
Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. Applicable consumer protections remain unaffected where they cannot legally be limited.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of or inability to use the app, including losses caused by inaccurate recognition or translation. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Termination
Your permission to use the app ends if you materially violate these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device.
Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated when the app or applicable requirements change. Continued use after an updated version becomes effective means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
